Building Unhackable Data Systems: AIDATACY's FHE Vision Wins Backing from Bpifrance and France 2030 Program

The quest for truly secure digital infrastructure is entering a transformative phase. Moving beyond traditional perimeter defense, the focus is shifting towards protecting data itself-especially where it is most vulnerable: during processing.

We are proud to share a significant milestone: AIDATACY has been selected by the French Ministry of the Economy and Bpifrance under the DeepTech - France 2030 program. This recognition supports our roadmap to pioneer a fully encrypted database foundation based on Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE).

This recognition by Bpifrance, France’s leading public investment bank and a key driver of innovation, and under the France 2030 strategic initiative, is a powerful validation. France 2030 is a €54 billion national plan designed to foster technological sovereignty and leadership in critical future sectors, including cybersecurity. Being selected underscores the strategic importance of our work and places AIDATACY at the forefront of Europe’s mission to build sovereign, reliable, and sustainable digital infrastructure.

Why is FHE a paradigm shift?

FHE allows computations to be performed directly on encrypted data without needing to decrypt it. This breakthrough has profound implications for cybersecurity as a whole:

  • Inherent Zero-Trust: It applies the principle of "never trust, always verify" at the data level. Sensitive information remains encrypted end-to-end, even while being analyzed.

  • Post-Quantum Resilience: As we prepare for the future, cryptographic techniques that are resistant to quantum computing attacks are crucial. FHE is a frontrunner in this next-generation security architecture.

  • Enabling Secure Collaboration: The core promise is the ability for multiple parties, be they banks, government agencies, or enterprises, to collaborate and gain insights from pooled sensitive data, all while maintaining strict confidentiality and control over their individual datasets.

This national-level endorsement is more than an R&D grant; it validates a vision for a sovereign, reliable, and sustainable cybersecurity future for Europe. It’s about building the foundational technologies that will power critical infrastructures, safeguard national databases, and preserve digital trust in an interconnected world.

While specific applications like next-generation firewalls (NGFW) are part of the journey, the broader ambition is clear: to make privacy-preserving computation a standard pillar of modern cybersecurity strategy. This project marks a decisive step towards making that ambition a reality.

The journey continues, and we remain open to collaborating with organizations eager to explore the potential of advanced, privacy-first security technologies.
